Worship

This is the page description.

—  We welcome you to worship  —

Worship at Grace is filled with prayers, readings from scripture, reflection, and music. All are invited to participate as they desire or are able. Parking is available on the street and in our parking lot. For those with mobility issues, a chair lift is available from our ground level parking lot entrance to our street level worship space. Nursery care is provided, if desired, in our nursery located on the same floor as our worship space.

Eucharist

—  Sundays at 9:30 am  —

Holy Eucharist (Holy Communion) is celebrated almost every Sunday at Grace. It is our "family meal" together as Christians and all who are baptized or wish for a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ are welcome to receive the bread and the wine and be in communion with God and each other.

BAPTISM

“Holy Baptism is full initiation by water and the Holy Spirit into Christ’s Body, the Church” (Book of Common Prayer, p. 298).

In the waters of baptism we are lovingly adopted by God into God’s family, which we call the Church, and given God’s own life to share and reminded that nothing can separate us from God’s love in Christ.

The Book of Common Prayer states that Holy Baptism is especially appropriate at the Easter Vigil, on the Day of Pentecost, on All Saints’ Day or the Sunday after All Saints’ Day, and on the Feast of the Baptism of our Lord (the First Sunday after the Epiphany).

Morning PRayer

On some Sundays we will worship using Morning Prayer. Led by lay people in our congregation, Morning Prayer comes from the monastic tradition and is a mix of prayers, psalms, scripture and music.

Marriage

We would love to celebrate your love for one another in God at Grace Episcopal Church.  Couples desiring marriage are invited to meet with the Priest of Grace to discuss a potential wedding at the church.  For an Episcopal wedding, certain guidelines must be followed.  Both opposite-gender and same-gender couples may celebrate their marriage at Grace. Details can be explored in the meeting with the Priest.  A link to the current marriage customary can be found below..
